I feel like crap.

Hello all by the way.

The week started so well aswell. Going to a Patrick Wolf gig and seeing him in all his sequinned glory. Then, a few days later, meeting Mister. Pegg and Mister. Frost (alas, no Mister. Wright) again. Simon even offered my some of his cake. The birthday kind, that is. Apparently, there's a Hot Fuzz after show party in Wells, next week. Naturally, i hope to attend. Finally, Somerset is rather eventful and fun.

So... Bonfire night is nigh upon us. My personal favourite holiday. A time to break your neck looking to the heavens and go "ooo pretty" at the effects on gunpowder. Ack, you simply can't beat it.*



* - Probably not true, but shh...

So my broadband upped and died on me. Naughty twerp. Tsk. But i come back to discover Hot Fuzz trailers! It's still too surreal to watch a Pegg and Wright film and recognise the scenery behind them.

Also apparently, the lovely David Tennant was in town filming a bit for Doctor Who aswell. Near the cathedral perhaps. Not sure why, how, when, or what but the thought of DT in his dashing pinstripes is always a good thing.

Really not a fan of hot weather.

I've been waiting too many years for them to come over to our shores and tonight's the night. :)

More Hot Fuzz funnery yesterday. Moreso of a fluke than last time. Fate must have been on my side. Or karma as i did nearly get run over six times. Once by a HF police car. None of it was my fault, i hastily add.

We were just walking aimlessly around the moat when we saw a few HF "Sandford" police cars in the distance, next thing we saw was a boom, and then Edgar's cackle of laughter (recognise that anywhere) and voila! Pegg and Frost!aka Pest and Frogg with extras dressed up in riot gear before our eyes. (Pegg sporting a a lovely blood wound on his arm... i did wonder how many people had gone up to him and said "you've got red on you". Too many probably)

It was a shortish scene (police running into a shop and Pegg smashing some glass with his body) and a load of cock-locking (and ready to rock-ing) with their guns. At one point they "hid" behind shopping trolleys and i was trying so hard to not giggle whilst they were shooting that part. It was just too surreal.

The inbetween take moments made me beam like the fangirl i am.

Ack. I'll miss them once they go.



P.S. I found it worrying that i could tell who Edgars brother was from behind. It's the hair!. Big hair must run in the family.

How can i manage to escape catching the flu throughout winter yet end up getting slapped around the face with it in May? Pah.


Hohum. My sister wouldn't forgive me if i was ill tonight. It's the Take That concert she's been waiting ten years for, and i'm her Plus!One. Heh.


That's right. Take That. What can i say, other than i'm the Queen of Cool. Surely? No? What?

Hello all. Just got in from another exciting adventure in Clara!World. Well, i find it relatively exciting, maybe others won't. But hey. My journal. :)

Day started with popping along to the cinema to watch Confetti and drink my body weight in a strange blue foam drink. That's hardly exciting i know, but there was aplenty squealing over Stephen Mangan and Mark Heap from moi. Anyone connected with Green Wing tend to make my a wee bit hyper for some reason.

And the rest of the day and night (til i got home) was spent hovering around Wells town centre watching all the lighting and cameramen set up (It's being used in the new Pegg and Wright film Hot Fuzz). And they've made it all pretty! With fairy lights in the trees. I'm easy to please, just use fairy lights. :)

Anyway, they (Pegg and Frost) starting to film a few scenes. Much fun and fangirling was had by me and Simone, especially when off camera the boys went all camp for a few moments. They sure know how to tease...

I feel like i've been running on nil recently when it comes to energy, which i've never been known to have in abundance anywhoo.

Lavender chocolate anyone? I haven't heard of it til today when i accpted a chunk. Felt like i had a mouth full of lavender flowers in my mouth, which obviously was its intention.
After a few seconds, i suddenly remembered i didn't like the smell of lavender, let alone the taste of it.

Too tired to remember.Hohum. I managed to swallow it done. Twas... interesting.
